Lauren Christensen To All Instructors

Hello, I'm Lauren. I've been homeschooling my three kids, aged 8 to 12, for about seven years now. Our days are filled with a mix of learning and fun, where I try to incorporate activities like play, games, sports, crafts, and outdoor adventures into our curriculum. I'm passionate about staying active myself, whether it's hitting the gym, going for a run, or exploring the trails on my mountain bike.

I believe in hands-on learning and try to make our lessons as engaging as possible, drawing from my own experience that teaching is the best way to learn. My goal is to spark curiosity and foster a love of learning in each of my children across a variety of subjects.

Outside of our homeschooling journey, my family and I try to give back to our community through service projects. We volunteer at local shelters, organize donation drives, and participate in neighborhood clean-up events, hoping to instill compassion and generosity in my children.

In addition to my role as a homeschool mom, I also hold a license in physical therapy assisting, a field I'm deeply passionate about. I find fulfillment in helping others overcome physical challenges, whether it's through my professional work or lending a hand in the community. My aim is always to make a positive impact wherever I can, striving to do my part to make the world a better place
