Ms. Cindy Millsap To All Instructors

Howdy y'all! I'm Ms. Cindy. I grew up in the St. George area, but lived in the great state of Texas from 2008-2021 where my husband Wayne and I have raised our fabulous 6 kids. For 20 years now I have homeschooled my children with a TJED perspective. I was active in the Classical Conversations Community in Texas for 7 years. I was thrilled when I learned that Fire Canyon Academy was a TJED based academy. 

     Our oldest, Lydia, is 20, graduated from Evans Hairstyling College, and is currently serving as a missionary for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the Baltimore, Maryland Mission. Our 19 year old, Dallas, received his real estate license after graduating and is now also serving a mission in the Cancun, Mexico Mission. Elise-17,Grant-15, and Luke-12, all attend FCA and love it. Elise and Grant wrestle on their respective teams at Desert Hills High School, where I coach as the girls wrestling head coach. I love it! My youngest is Mikelle-9 and she can’t wait until she is old enough to attend FCA. In the meantime, she loves our littles school group that meets on Wednesdays. I love mentoring and am passionate about these scholars. I’ve been mentoring at Fire Canyon for 3 years now and am so excited for a fourth year.  I’ve mentored Math Skills and Drills for 3 years, History-based writing for 1 year, and this will be my 3rd year mentoring Quest. I absolutely love learning with the scholars and geeking out with them.
